Violet intrigued us the moment we read the first three chapters of her trilogy. Everyone at DreamEngine wanted to work on her book. We couldn’t put it down.
On meeting her, it became evident that she is eloquent, worldly-wise, a gifted storyteller and deeply interested in questioning the majority's worldview. She is not in the least bit happy to accept the status quo and the entrenched, so-called facts about the world we live in.
Her inquisitive determination to question everything has led Violet to write novels that paint stunningly detailed pictures of a fantasy world that might not be fantasy at all. Weaving ancient magic with newfound knowledge to create a unique genre of work she calls Blasphemous Mythology.

Hi, I'm Violet. I am an advocate of freedom, be that the freedom to speak, freedom to choose, question, or simply the freedom to be and let be.
I have spent a lifetime questioning accepted truths found in the mundane and more extraordinary aspects of life, touching upon ownership of our own consciousness through to the origins of faith and, indeed, humanity as we know it now.
My stories blend modern life's harsh realities with fantastic tales that took root in our collective consciousness many, many moons ago.
