Wild Brigantia

Cartimandua has one choice to make. A choice between love and duty. Celtic mythology and romance in Yorkshire, during iron age Britain.
Cartimandua has one choice to make. A choice between love and duty.
Queen Carimandua’s betrothal to King Venutius of Carvetii promises a strengthened defence against the imminent invasion from Rome.
Marriage seems the right thing to do… except the untamed queen hasn’t accounted for the ‘The Shining One’ – the champion of Carvetii - entering her life.
The Druid Eòlas predicts a radiant future for Brigantia. Even so, this prophesy from the Celtic gods leaves The queen with only one chance for liberty.
For the sake of Brigantia and her people, she must choose well!
Brigantia is now Yorkshire (/ˈjɔːrkʃər, -ʃɪər/ YORK-shər, -sheer), a historic county in Northern England and the largest in the United Kingdom. Because of its size in comparison with other English counties, it has been the scene of conflict and division within itself, particularly in Roman times, when this book is set. Throughout these changes, Yorkshire has continued to be recognised as a geographic territory and culturally unique entity.
Carvetii is now Cumbria (/ˈkʌmbriə/ KUM-bree-ə), and is deemed a ceremonial county, an area that has an appointed Lord Lieutenant and High Sheriff and is used for ceremonial purposes in relation to the monarchy. It is in Northwest England, bordering the Scottish council areas of Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders to the north, Northumberland and County Durham to the east, North Yorkshire to the south-east, Lancashire to the south, and the Irish Sea to the west. Its largest settlement is the city of Carlisle.
The Carvetii (Common Brittonic: *Carwetī) were a Brittonic Celtic tribe living in what is now Cumbria, in North-West England during the Iron Age, and were subsequently identified as a civitas (politically independent community) of Roman Britain (Canton).

Her positivity is infectious and she is both inspiring and active in helping people to lead a happy life.
She is particularly interested in helping older people to continue to feel happy and fulfilled. Tina uses the power of storytelling, the richness of history, and the place of women central to authentic stories to inspire others to be true to themselves in the world today.
In a world where history is sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, Tina questions the need to change those stories, but rather learn from them.
